Managing your product catalog
Set up products, variants, pricing and publishing so your team can sell and ship with confidence.
This is a preview draft. Final product behaviour may differ before release.
Products and variants
The CAT module is your product catalog. Start by adding a product with a name, description, purchase price, sale price and at least one SKU or barcode. If the product comes in different sizes or colours, create a Variant Matrix.
The Variant Matrix generates every size-colour combination automatically. This saves you from adding each combination by hand and makes inventory tracking much cleaner.
PIM and attributes
The PIM, or Product Information Management, subsystem helps you keep attributes consistent across many products. Create an attribute library for things like material, size or weight and reuse it for every product in the same category.
You can also add SEO fields, marketplace category mappings and multi-language translations. A well-structured catalog makes it easy to sync with Facebook, Instagram and Daraz later.
Pricing engine
Use the pricing engine to set different prices for different customers. You can create retail, wholesale, VIP and area-based prices. Flash sales and quantity discounts are also supported.
The engine checks the product cost and minimum margin guard before an offer goes live. This protects your profit while still letting you run aggressive campaigns.
Statuses and publishing
Every product has a status: Draft, Published or Archived. Draft is for products you are still editing. Published products appear in the catalog, checkout and order forms. Archived products are hidden but kept in history.
Before launching a campaign, review the status of every product and its variants. An out-of-stock variant that is still Published will cause orders you cannot fulfil.
Catalog and inventory sync
The product catalog is connected to the Inventory-lite module. When an order is confirmed, stock is reserved. When it is handed to the courier, stock is reduced. If a product comes back through the RTO queue and passes QC, it can be restocked.
Keep the catalog and inventory in sync and you will avoid overselling, refunds and disappointed customers. A clean catalog is the first step to a clean order flow.
